Year 1

A warm welcome to Year One.  As well as our spacious classroom with a garden view, we have an outside area which is solely for our Year 1 class. Our topics in Year 1 help us learn more about what happened to the dinosaurs, how the Great Fire of London started, what life is like in the Arctic and much more. We encourage the children to explore, question, have fun, take ownership of their learning and to share in each other’s successes. We take trips within the local area to help support our learning and make the most of the great city we live in.

Our class teacher is Miss Stace and our Teaching Assistant is Ms Davis except on a Thursday when we are supported by Mrs Fradley. Mr Lambert and Mrs Bolis also support in class.
